Synopsis
The river closed in behind him.
Dani Linhares came to the Amazon to film sport fishing. He had sponsors, a small crew, a drone, a delivery deadline, the kind of risk that fit on a spreadsheet and would later become video content. What he didn't have was authorization to be in that stretch of river, in the middle of a military operation no one explained before the voadeira appeared.
Major Ícaro Nascimento arrived to contain a threat, not to babysit a good-looking civilian with a camera in his hand and too quick with a comeback. Dani was a suspect. Then he was a problem. Then he became the only person in the house Ícaro couldn't reduce to protocol.
The ecotourism lodge is cut off by the rain. Communication fails. One of the crew is lying badly. The river holds a criminal delivery, and someone chose Dani as cover.
What was custody becomes cohabitation. What was control becomes tension. What was silence starts to weigh on the body.
When the trip becomes a trap, Dani has to trust the man who first came to arrest him. Ícaro has to decide whether protecting Dani is still the mission or if it's already become something else.

Content note: sensual slow burn, with one explicit intimate scene in the resolution.
